Langrisser I & II Remake Demo Coming to Japan

Chara-Aniannounced that it will be releasing a demo version of its upcoming remake of the first two Langrisser games in Japan. The demo for the Langrisser I & II Remake will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on February 7, 2019. The demo will include the first three stages of the first game and stages four through six of the second game and let players switch between the new and classic art styles.

The first Langrisser game was originally released for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis and PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 in Japan in 1991 and brought to the west under the title Warsong. Langrisser II is set several hundred years after the first game, was originally released in Japan in 1994 for the Sega Mega Drive, and later remade for the Super Famicom under the title Der Langrisser. The collection is set to release n Japan on April 18, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
