Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Shows Its Playable and Support Characters

Bandai Namco released another trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The latest, three-minute video shows off the multiple playable and support characters appearing in the game. Support characters such as Krillin, Yamcha, Tenshinhan, and Chiaotzu join players in battle, with up to two support characters joining at any one time with their own abilities. These characters provide additional combat assistance, such as helping with combos or replenishing health and energy. Though the game primarily focuses on the story of Goku, other characters are fully playable, including in the game’s exploration sections. Certain side quests will only be available to specific characters. Playable characters shown in the video are Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an action RPG and will provide a retelling of the Dragon Ball Z anime and manga series from the viewpoint of Kakarot, better known as Goku. The game will be released worldwide on January 17, 2020, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
