Tales of Crestoria Pushed to 2020, New Characters Revealed

Bandai Namco revealed that the release of mobile RPG Tales of Crestoria has been pushed back to 2020. In a video message, producer Tomomi Tagawa stated that the delay is to improve the game’s quality. The delay will allow Bandai Namco to release the game with a fully voiced main story and to add more character expressions to the game, among other improvements. In addition to announcing the delay, Bandai Namco also revealed two more characters appearing in the game. Machina and Kasque are Administrators of World Order, whose role is to deal with criminals such as main character Kanata.

Tales of Crestoria is being developed for iOS and Android. The game features an original main scenario featuring original characters, but will also include characters from other games in the series. These versions of the characters are treated as part of the world of Tales of Crestoria and will be involved in new stories involving different characters. More details about Tales of Crestoria are expected to be announced in December.
