The Surge 2 Swings into More Combat

Focus Home Interactive has released a new trailer for Deck13’s upcoming action RPG The Surge 2. The minute-long video shows off the game’s combat system, which lets players target and remove specific limbs and includes a directional parry system and many varied weapon types such as gauntlets and spears.

The Surge 2 is a sequel to 2017’s The Surge. The game puts players into Jericho City, a future sci-fi megacity that is currently under quarantine, with multiple factions vying for dominance. The Surge 2 is set to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 24, 2019.
