The Surge 2 Targets Official Release Date

Deck13 and Focus Home Interactive have announced an official release date for this year’s upcoming sci-fi RPG, The Surge 2. The game will see a worldwide release on September 24, 2019, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Presently, participating retailers are offering the URBN Gear Pack DLC to those who preorder the game. This includes an armor set, two weapons, a drone, a module, and a bonus online message icon. A Limited Edition is also available, sweetening the pot with a special lenticular cover, an 8-page comic book, a double-sided poster, and three lithographs.

Following the previous game’s 2017 release, The Surge 2 gives players the ability to target and dismember specific limbs from enemy bodies. This lets them poach the enemies’ weapons and assemble new armor sets using the collected parts.
