Death end re;Quest 2 Announced

Compile Heart has announced Death end re;Quest 2, a follow-up to its recent PlayStation 4 title Death end re;Quest. The game is set in the same version of the real world as its predecessor but tells a new occult-themed story designed to welcome new and old players.

Death end re;Quest 2 is set around the southeastern European-style town of Liz Soara. The game follows three girls — Mai Touyama, Rotten Dollheart, and Liliana Piata — who become involved in an incident where boarding students start to go missing. Previous characters Shina Ninomiya and Lydia Nolan are slated to return alongside the Summer Life company, but it is not clear what roles they will play. Death end re;Quest 2 is being developed for PlayStation 4, though no release date has been announced.
