Dragon Quest Builders 2 Demo Coming Later This Month
Square Enix and Nintendo have announced that a demo version of crafting RPG Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch later this month. The demo will be available on June 27, 2019, and introduce the game’s story, where players take on the role of an apprentice builder looking to defeat the Children of Hargon and restore the power of creation to the world.
Square Enix also released a new trailer for the game, highlighting some of its new mechanics, tools, and locations. Dragon Quest Builders 2 is set to be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on July 12, 2019. The game will have a $20.99 Season Pass, which is included as part of the Digital Deluxe Edition. The Season Pass grants access to three post-launch DLC packs: the Hotto Stuff Pack, which features over 40 recipes and access to a new island containing materials needed for those recipes; the Aquarium Pack, which adds a new fishing island and 40 types of fish that can be caught and bred in the player’s aquarium; and the Modernist Pack, which includes over 70 recipes for modern-style items.
