Mary Skelter 2 Coming West on Switch

Idea Factory International has announced that it will be releasing Compile Heart’s dungeon-crawler Mary Skelter 2 in North America and Europe. The game will be released digitally exclusively for Nintendo Switch, though no release window has been given. In addition to Mary Skelter 2, the release will also come with a copy of predecessor Mary Skelter: Nightmares that includes revamped systems and balancing.

Mary Skelter: Nightmares was originally released for PlayStation Vita in 2016 — 2017 in the west — with a PC version released in 2018. The game is a turn-based first-person dungeon-crawling RPG and follows the main character Jack and five fairy tale-inspired Blood Maidens as they attempt to escape from a mysterious underground jail that contains stalking monsters called Nightmares. Mary Skelter 2 follows a new protagonist while previous protagonist, Jack, is now a Nightmare. The game was originally released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2018.
