Atlus Teases Persona 5: The Royal, Next Reveal Planned for April

Atlus has released a new teaser for Persona 5: The Royal, previously known as P5R. The 45-second Japanese teaser video does not provide any information on what Persona 5: The Royal is or how it relates to Persona 5, but features a new female character discussing her dislike of the Phantom Thieves. The video closes by promising that more details will be provided on April 24, 2019.

Persona 5 is the latest title in Atlus’ spin-off to the Shin Megami Tensei series. The game was released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in 2017 and was heavily featured in RPGamer’s 2017 Awards, winning Game of the Year.
