Edge of Eternity Arrives on Early Access
Midgar Studio and Playdius’ Edge of Eternity is now available on Steam Early Access. The initial Early Access version, available for $19.99/£15.49/€19.99 with a 10% discount available until December 12, 2018, grants players access to the first chapter of the game that takes place around the city of Herelsor. The developer has provided details on what is planned for future updates, with the first major update currently set for February 2019.
Edge of Eternity looks to combine turn-based and tactical combat, using an ATB-based combat system as well as a combat grid and environmental interactions. The game is set on the planet Heryon, which is plunged into a war between its inhabitants and invaders from space. Edge of Eternity is being developed for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. No date has been announced for the game’s full release.
