Dragon Quest XI for Switch Gets New Name

New information regarding the Switch version of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age has come out from the Tokyo Game Show. The game will be titled Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S, with the “S” representing Switch, Special, and Speaking. The “S” also stands for “Seiyuu” which translates to voice actor, with the western version of the game adding voice acting, which was not present in the Japanese release. While the Switch version does not have an official release date, Dragon Quest series creator Yuji Horii stated the game will still take a bit of time before it is released. Besides the slight name change, no additional information for Dragon Quest XI S has been announced.

Dragon Quest XI is currently available worldwide on the PlayStation 4 and PC. The game was also released on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan.
