Dragon Quest Builders 2 Hits Japan in December

Square Enix announced that Dragon Quest Builders 2, its follow-up to the building-focused spin-off RPG Dragon Quest Builders, will be released in Japan on December 20, 2018. The game, which is being developed with Koei Tecmo, will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch and will be playable during September’s Tokyo Game Show.

In addition to announcing the release date, Square Enix also released the game’s opening movie. The video comes in two versions, one each for both the male and female protagonists that players choose between at the start of the game.
