Next Up Hero Out Now

Aspyr and Digital Continue’s Next Up Hero is now out of Steam Early Access and fully released on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is available to buy for $19.99, and is also available as part of the Xbox Game Pass.

Next Up Hero is a co-op action dungeon-crawler where players face off against monsters known as the Ceaseless Dirge. Death is permanent but player “echoes” remain for the next player to raise, with players able to resurrect up to twenty AI followers. The game features a dungeon maker mode, where players create dungeons for others to challenge that reward either the challenger or creator with a piece of loot. Cross-play is available on PC and Xbox One, with Nintendo Switch version joining when it launches on an as-yet unspecified date.
