Life-Sim RPG Our Life on Water Announced

Developer Different Tales has announced Our Life on Water. The game is a life-sim RPG inspired by the Mekong River’s floating villages of Cambodia and Vietnam. Players control a character known as Rivertalker in the fictional nation of Sahakom, looking to protect and build up their village.

The game sees players undertaking various tasks including boating, fishing, diving, breeding animals, establishing relationships, and more. There will be a number of moral decisions throughout the game, as players turn to the River Spirits for help, aided by the shapeshifting otter companion Yla. Our Life on Water is planned to release as an Early Access title on PC in 2024.
