Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists Adds More Characters
Gust has released more details and screenshots for its upcoming Atelier spin-off Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists: Atelier of a New Land. The latest update provides information on various characters in the game, most of whom have previously appeared in the series.
The first character is a new one. Misty Erlute is a maid who works for the game’s protagonist Nelke von Luchetam, who takes over from her father as the lord of the village of Vestbalt and seeks to grow it. She is generally reserved, but also possesses the ability to act as a bodyguard. The remaining characters return from elsewhere in the series, joining those previously confirmed, with Elfir Traum (Atelier Elie: The Alchemist of Salburg 2), Escha Malier and Logix Fiscario (Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky), and Viese Blanchimont (Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny). Also appearing is a member of the fairy race (currently known simply as “Fairy”) that has appeared in various guises across the series.
Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists is being developed for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch. The game is set to be released later this year in Japan, with there being no news at this stage regarding a potential western release.
