Digimon Survive Heads West, First Footage Revealed

Bandai Namco has announced that its recently announced title Digimon Survive will be released in North America and Europe. The game is set to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2019.

In addition to the western release announcement, Bandai Namco held a Japanese livestream during the weekend, where it debuted some footage from the game. The footage features a few minutes each of story and combat gameplay.

Digimon Survive aims to mix visual novel, tactical RPG, and monster-raising gameplay. It stars Takuya Momotsuka, a middle school student who gets lost in the digital world and partners up with Agumon as he looks to find his way back home. The game features various choices that can affect the story and Digimon evolutions, with several key points and hints to be discovered while exploring the game’s world.
