New PopoloCrois Title Available for iOS, Android in Japan

Sega has released a new title in its PopoloCrois series for iOS and Android in Japan. PopoloCrois: Narcia’s Tears and the Fairy’s Flute‘s story is split into three different narratives. The first focuses on Prince Pietro and the forest witch Narcia, who are tasked with protecting the Reuben Forest. The second takes place in Bilca Village on the continent across the sea from the PopoloCrois Kingdom, as a man calling himself the apostle of God appears. The third story takes place in the port city of Pacella, where people gather for a naval battle tournament.

PopoloCrois is based on the manga series by Yohsuke Tamori, with the first game released in Japan in 1996 for the original PlayStation. The previous game in the series was Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale, which was a Nintendo 3DS crossover between PopoloCrois and Marvelous’ Story of Seasons/Bokujō Monogatari farming sim series released in 2016. There is no news on whether PopoloCrois: Narcia’s Tears and the Fairy’s Flute will receive a western release.
