Chrono Trigger on Steam to Receive Patches

Square Enix has announced that it will be rolling out a series of patches intended to respond to criticism of the Steam version of Chrono Trigger. The first of these patches is set to arrive in the first half of April and will offer the option to switch between the graphical style of the original game and the PC version’s current high-resolution graphics. Further patch support was promised over the next few months but no details were given on what they would entail. Square Enix is also extending the availability of the digital Limited Edition, which includes a five song medley, liner notes from Yasunori Mitsuda, and six wallpapers, until April 30, 2018.
