Yakuza 6 Delayed, Demo Announced

Sega today announced that it will be delaying the North American and European releases of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. Previously planned for release on March 20, 2018, the game will instead be available exclusively for PlayStation 4 on April 17, 2018. However, the company has announced that a demo version will be made available on February 27, 2018. Those who download the demo will be able to transfer their save file to the main game when it launches.

Yakuza 6 is set a few years after the previous game, with protagonist Kazuma Kiryu spending the time between in prison. Upon his release, he discovers that his adopted niece Haruka is in a coma following a hit-and-run and that she has an infant son named Haruto. His quest to uncover the mysteries behind these mysteries sees Kiryu travel to various locations in Kamurocho and Hiroshima.
