Yakuza 6 Demo Re-released

Sega has re-released its free PlayStation 4 demo version for Yakuza 6: The Song of Life on the PlayStation Store. The demo was initially released in February, but was removed following an issue that allowed North American players to access the full game. The demo will let players carry over their progress into the main game, though any trophies unlocked in the demo will need to be re-earned in the full game.

Yakuza 6 is set a few years after the previous game, with protagonist Kazuma Kiryu spending the time between in prison, and covers various locations in Kamurocho and Hiroshima. Upon his release, he discovers that his adopted niece Haruka is in a coma following a hit-and-run and that she has an infant son named Haruto. Yakuza 6 is set to be released on April 17, 2018. Sega also recently announced that it will be releasing Yakuza Kiwami 2 (a remake of Yakuza 2) in August 2018.
