Ni no Kuni II Shows Off New Systems

Developer Level-5 has unveiled a new Japanese trailer for the upcoming Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. The nearly-three-minute video, viewable below, shows off several of the new systems featured in the game. The revamped battle system, including the supporting Higgledies, as well as skirmish and boss battles are previewed. Also, the Kingdom Mode, where players can place a variety of buildings, thus unlocking quests by creating jobs for the citizens, also gets a quick look.

Ni no Kuni II returns players to Ding Dong Dell, this time controlling a young boy named Evan, a deposed king who sets out to reclaim his throne. The game will be released by Bandai Namco on PlayStation 4 and PC on March 23, 2018.
