Fresh Media Arrives for Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet
Bandai Namco recently released an assortment of media for the latest Sword Art Online game, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet. While the company’s English departments released some new screenshots and details regarding a character named Bazalt Joe, the Japanese section released a new three-and-a-half-minute trailer showing various aspects of the game.
Bazalt Joe is a top player in Gun Gale Online, the fictional VRMMORPG players are in, who takes particular interest in the player character’s rare ArFa-sys AI companion. When players defeat him, he is genial and usually provides important information or good items. Meanwhile, the other screenshots show various customisation options and setups, as well as the special Gun and Sword equipment, which is unlocked after clearing a special event involving Kirito.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is being created by DIMPS, a different studio than those who made prior games in the series, and focuses on third-person shooting as opposed to the melee combat of previous titles. The game is planned for release in Japan on February 8, 2018, and in North America and Europe on February 23, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
