Code Vein Tours Its Home Base

Bandai Namco has released a new set of screenshots and trailers for its upcoming action RPG Code Vein. The screenshots and first trailer show various parts and NPCs within the game central hub, known as Home Base. Players can take requests from the various NPCs, raising their affinity and potentially unlocking new powerful items as rewards. The screenshots show some customisation options for the player-created main protagonist. The other two trailers, meanwhile, show a couple of areas in the game: the City of Falling Flame and the Ridge of Frozen Souls.

Code Vein is a new title from the studio behind the God Eater series. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humans have gained supernatural abilities at the cost of severe bloodlust. The custom protagonist teams up with an AI partner, venturing out into the ruined world, battling against corrupted beings known as the Lost.
