Aethermancer Welcomes Maverick’s Compendium Update

Developer moi rai games and publisher offbrand games released a major Steam Early Access update for monster-taming roguelite Aethermancer. The Maverick’s Compendium update adds a new player class, the Aether Maverick, which is built around variety and randomness. It also adds the new community-designed Philosopher’s Stone monster and Kragg from Rivals of Aether, a new Siriux Journal feature that tracks monster stats and lore, a new combat log, and more. Aethermancer is set in a world whose monsters are trapped in a cycle of death and rebirth. Players control a character who can harness four elements to unleash powerful spells while commanding their monsters. If a monster dies in combat, it is lost but players can rebirth their soul to give it a new form, becoming stronger from its past lives. The game has been in Early Access since September 2025.
