Zero Parades: For Dead Spies Director’s Cut, PS5 Release Date Announced

ZA/UM has announced a free Director’s Cut update for narrative espionage RPG Zero Parades: For Dead Spies. The update will release on PC on October 1, 2026. In addition, ZA/UM announced that the game will be released for PlayStation 5 on November 3, 2026. The PlayStation 5 version will include all of the improvements and content from the Director’s Cut update.

The Director’s Cut update features around 40,000 words of new material, including a new Dramatic Encounter, the Quisach Roundabout, where protagonist Hershel Wilk and her old ally Ramses find themselves stoned and at the wheel of a hijacked tuk-tuk late at night, seemingly unable to escape the Quisach Roundabout. It also features a new Backstage mode where players can explore earlier versions of selected levels, as well as interact with orbs for stories and commentary about the game’s development, completed and revised English voice-overs, visual and atmospheric improvements, and various quality-of-life enhancements.

Zero Parades: For Dead Spies follows operant Hershel Wilk, aka CASCADE, in the city of Portofiro. She is still haunted by a failed mission that took place five years ago, but is suddenly recalled to undertake a mysterious mission and prove herself once again. Player choices can impact other characters’ loyalty, available paths, and the state of Hershel’s mind. The story is stated to be built to encourage players to continue even if they fail at their current task.
