Turn-Based RPG Seen NOT Heard Announced
Developer Fabrice Roisné-Hamelin, aka Odd Indeed, has announced Seen NOT Heard, a turn-based RPG themed around family trauma. The game follows Melia, a young girl who wakes up to discover that her mouth has been sewn shut with no memory of what happened. Her only clue is that the kingdom is with strange monsters that are likely to have borne witness to everything, and she sets out to end their suffering in the hope of finding her lost memories.
As players progress the story, they will learn about a deep trauma that has impacted an entire family and the suffering forms part of a cycle that leads to more suffering. Melia is joined by multiple companions including rebellious herbalist Anselin, brutally honest archer Nalya, and aspiring politician and pyromancer Hassan. Players explore ten distinct zones with their own secrets and Monsters to take on, with players able to select and upgrade companions to suit their play style.
The game visuals are inspired by traditional sketch and watercolor art, while its music is composed by Jean-Pascal Vielfaure, composer of the Uncle Albert French series of adventure puzzle video games. Seen NOT Heard is in development for PC and is available to wishlist on Steam.
