Lords of the Fallen II Shows New Combat Gameplay

CI Games released a new trailer for its upcoming action RPG Lords of the Fallen II. The two-minute video shows some of the latest enhancements made to its combat system, including mid-combo weapon switching, new Quickfire and Counterstrike abilities, additional weapon classes, boss weapons, dedicated magic and ranged stances, instant spellcasting, and more. It is accompanied by a new hour-long “Lifting the Veil” video, with members of the development team discussing the combat changes.

Lords of the Fallen II is a sequel to 2023 title Lords of the Fallen, itself a reboot of the original 2014 game of the same name. The game is set 100 years after the events of the 2023 game and sees players traverse two merged realities: the classic dark fantasy realm of Axiom and the invasive horror of Umbral. It will feature full shared co-op progression and optional PvP and game modifiers. The game is currently planned to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2027.
