Disgaea Mayhem Demo Available

NIS America has released a demo for action RPG Disgaea Mayhem. The demo is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, coming ahead of the game’s launch for the same platforms on July 23, 2026. The demo lets players access three stages, each with dozens of enemies and a boss fight, while trying all seven weapon types available in the game.

Disgaea Mayhem follows veteran mercenary N.A., who is summoned by the Superlative Netherworld overlord Tichelle. She tasks N.A. with finding the thief who stole the First Radiance Pudding, which was created by Tisiel’s deceased father. The game sees N.A. use seven different weapon types — fists, swords, spears, axes, bows, guns, and staffs — each with its own attack ranges and actions against groups of enemies. Each weapon also has four different special techniques to utilise against foes. The game features a level cap of 9,999, as well as returning Disgaea elements including Reincarnation, the Chara World, Item World, and the Debate Assembly.
