Disgaea Mayhem Coming West in Summer
NIS America announced that it is releasing Nippon Ichi Software’s Kyouran Makaism in the west as Disgaea Mayhem. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 in summer 2026. A physical Limited Edition is available to pre-order through NIS America’s online store for $99.99 that includes:
- Physical copy of Disgaea Mayhem for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, or Nintendo Switch 2
- Collector’s box
- “The Art of Mayhem” artbook
- “Hellscape” original soundtrack
- N.A. and Tichelle acrylic stand
- “The Flan Fanatic” acrylic keychain
Released in Japan last month, Disgaea Mayhem follows veteran mercenary N.A., who is summoned by the Superlative Netherworld overlord Tichelle. She tasks N.A. with finding the thief who stole the First Radiance Pudding, which was created by Tisiel’s deceased father. The game sees N.A. use seven different weapon types — fists, swords, spears, axes, bows, guns, and staffs — each with their own attack ranges and actions against groups of enemies. Each weapon also has four different special techniques to utilise against foes. The game features a level cap of 9,999, as well as returning Disgaea elements including Reincarnation, the Chara World, Item World, and the Debate Assembly.
