The Demons Told Me to Make This Game Available on Steam Early Access

Developer Haunted Dude has released narrative horror RPG The Demons Told Me to Make This Game on Steam Early Access. The Early Access version is available for $12.99 with a 13% launch discount. The initial release includes a prologue and the first of six planned “story loops”, covering around eight hours of content. The game is currently expected to fully release in late 2027 or early 2028.

The Demons Told Me to Make This Game is billed as a game about time loops and cosmic horror featuring demons, monsters, evil cults, bloody rituals, and Elder Gods. Players control Dark Wisp, a disembodied spirit unable to interact with the physical world directly. However, they are able to possess people and influence their behaviour. Players will need to find ways to prevent their hosts acting of their own accord and keep them alive, and are fortunately able to control the flow of time to undo any poor choice their hosts might make.
