Call of Elyndra Shows New 2.5D Style, Engine

Developer Quorum Games has re-revealed its upcoming title Call of Elyndra. The re-reveal, featuring new screenshots and a new trailer, shows off the game’s new 2.5D graphical style as well as its development transition to the Godot engine. The game is currently planned to release as an Early Access title on Steam later this year.

Call of Elyndra aims to combine parts from SNES-era action RPGs and cozy farming sims. The game focuses on three adventurers, one of whom is the player character. Led by a dream, they arrive in a village in the middle of nowhere called Elyndra. After helping rescue a child, the trio are granted a plot of land to farm, but are embroiled in a conflict between independent villages and a threatening empire.

Players are able to explore and undertake quests across different landscapes including mountains and beaches. It includes its own farming and crafting systems as well as activities such as fishing, while action combat sees players using dodge rolls, items, and special abilities. The main storyline is planned to last around thirty hours.
