Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Gets More Videos, Switch Pre-Orders Open

Level-5 announced that Nintendo Switch digital pre-orders are now open for life sim RPG Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time ahead of the game’s release on May 21, 2025. The Nintendo Switch pre-orders join the already ongoing pre-order phase for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is available in a $59.99 standard edition and a $69.99 Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes the in-game Napdragon Mount and weapon set as well as an outfit pack.

In addition, the developer has recently put out a number of additional gameplay videos. The videos show the game in a selection of different languages. Two “Life Spotlight” videos show the journey from collecting ingredients to cooking and a character named Ai’s “Kawaii Life Routine” in the game. Meanwhile, four more videos highlight the Cook, Paladin, Carpenter, and Tailor roles that players can take on.

A follow-up to Nintendo 3DS title Fantasy Life, Fantasy Life i sees players drifting onto an island that was previously home to a prosperous civilisation. Players develop the island through quests and crafting, before being able to time travel back into the past, where they can learn secrets about the island and potentially rewrite history. The game will include fourteen different roles, or Lives, for players to freely change between as they build up their town. It will also include online co-op for up to four players along with multiplatform Cross-Play and Cross-Save.
