Longdue Working on Disco Elysium Spiritual Successor

Newly-formed developer Longdue announced that it is working on a new psychological RPG that it bills as a spiritual successor to Disco Elysium. The development team currently consists of a dozen members, including some who worked on Disco Elysium and its cancelled sequel as well as veterans from Bungie, Rockstar, and Brave At Night.

Disco Elysium was developed by ZA/UM and released for PC in 2019 before later being released on Mac and consoles. It follows an amnesiac detective in a fictional city and features heavily dialogue-based gameplay. In addition to Disco Elysium, Longdue’s title draws inspiration from Black Isle Studios’s Planescape: Torment among other classic RPGs.
