Whispers in the Moss Releasing End of May

Solo developer Uncultured Games announced that Whispers in the Moss will release on May 31, 2024. The artisan turn-based RPG will be available on PC via Steam, Itch.io, and GOG.com for $5. A demo is currently available on Steam and Itch.io.

Whispers in the Moss utilises textmode-based graphics and is coded in QB64, a modernised version of the QBASIC programming language. It has been in development for twelve years. The game follows three heroes from a tranquil fishing village who set out to restore balance in a world dominated by a power-hungry empire. Combat is inspired by classic Final Fantasy titles with players aiming to defeat enemies using physical attacks, black and white magic, items, and special skills.
