Capcom announced that its remaster of Monster Hunter Stories will release on June 14, 2024. The game, which originally released for Nintendo 3DS, will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. In addition, Capcom revealed that sequel Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, currently available on PC and Nintendo Switch, will also release for PlayStation 4 on the same day.

Monster Hunter Stories sees players controlling a Rider, someone who partners up with and raises monsters, and features a turn-based combat system with players able to ride on their monsters.
