Nintendo Treehouse: Live Shows Gameplay

Following its Nintendo Direct E3 presentation, Nintendo held a number of Treehouse: Live demonstrations where it showcased a number of upcoming titles for Nintendo Switch. The titles included Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, Shin Megami Tensei V, and Mario Golf: Super Rush, with their portions viewable below.

A follow-up to Nintendo 3DS title Monster Hunter Stories, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is a turn-based spin-off to the Monster Hunter series that sees players controlling a Rider who partners up with and raises monsters. Monster Hunter Stories 2 will release digitally and physically for Nintendo Switch and digitally for PC on July 9, 2021. A demo will launch for Nintendo Switch on June 25, 2021, and for PC on the game’s full release day.

Shin Megami Tensei V is the fifth mainline title in the series, which has branched into numerous spin-offs including Persona. The game puts players in the role of a Tokyo high school student who is called into a different dimension featuring a post-apocalyptic version of the city filled with demons. The game will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch in Japan on November 11, 2021, and in North America and Europe on November 12, 2021.

The latest Mario Golf title, Mario Golf: Super Rush, includes button and motion control options, sixteen playable Mario series characters, new Speed Golf and Battle Golf modes, and the return of a story mode, complete with RPG elements as players take their Mii character through the campaign. The game will release for Nintendo Switch on June 25, 2021.
