Shin Megami Tensei V to Be Delisted

Atlus announced that it will be delisting Shin Megami Tensei V and its DLC from the Nintendo eShop. The game and additional content will be delisted on June 13, 2024, just ahead of the release Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. All those who have purchased the game or DLC will be able to redownload it and all physical and digital copies will remain playable after this date.

Shin Megami Tensei V was originally released for Nintendo Switch in 2021. The game puts players in control of a Tokyo high school student who finds himself in a different apocalyptic version of the city. Before he is killed by hostile demons, he is saved by a mysterious being who merges with him to form a Nahobino, a powerful being that is neither human nor demon. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is an enhanced edition of the game and will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on June 14, 2024. In addition to a variety of additions and changes, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will include a new “Canon of Vengeance” story that changes drastically during the second half of the game with a completely different outcome.
