Monster Hunter Stories 2 Adds Opening Cinematic, Trial Version Available Now

Capcom released the opening cinematic trailer for its upcoming Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. The six-minute-long video begins with a song, continues with a chase scene, and finishes with the announcement that a trial version of the game is available today on Nintendo Switch. Monster Hunter Stories 2 is releasing on Nintendo Switch and PC on July 9, 2021, with players able to transfer their save data from the trial version to the Switch version.

Monster Hunter Stories 2 is a follow-up to Nintendo 3DS title Monster Hunter Stories. The game is a turn-based RPG and a spin-off to the Monster Hunter series. Players control a rider who can team up with and train monsters, such as a flightless Rathalos that is said to bring the destruction of the world.
