Monster Hunter Stories Remaster Coming This Summer

Capcom announced that it is releasing Monster Hunter spin-off Monster Hunter Stories on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The remaster of the Nintendo 3DS title will release this summer. The new release will include refined graphics, full English and Japanese voice acting, a new Museum mode, and title updates that were previously released only in Japan.

Monster Hunter Stories originally release for Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2016 and internationally in 2017, with iOS and Android versions following. The game sees players controlling a Rider, someone who partners up with and raises monsters, and features a turn-based combat system with players able to ride on their monsters. A follow-up, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, released for PC and Nintendo Switch in 2021.
