Streets of Rogue 2 Gets First Devlog Video

Publisher tinyBuild and solo developer Matt Dabrowski released the first entry in a new series of developer blog videos for action open-world roguelite Streets of Rogue 2. In the eleven-minute video, Matt talks about the open world design of the game and its inspirations, as well as his work on the previous title and how that had aided development of the follow-up.

Streets of Rogue 2 is set in a sandbox world with players aiming to overthrow the corrupt president and take control of the country themselves, and includes online and local co-op. It blends a wide variety of genres with players given a large amount of freedom with the play style and potential tools and weapons. Applications for its first alpha playtest are open now, with the game planned to receive a Steam Early Access release in 2024.
