Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince Gets Gameplay Introduction

Square Enix released a new trailer for the upcoming Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince. The three-minute gameplay introduction video showcases the game’s setting of Nadiria, protagonist Psaro’s necessary change to a Monster Wrangler, monster recruitment, and other gameplay elements.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince sees Psaro cursed by his father, Nadiria’s ruler Randolfo the Tyrant, which stops him from harming monsters. Looking for revenge, he becomes a Monster Wrangler, recruiting and fighting with monsters to build up his own loyal army. Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is planned to release on Nintendo Switch on December 1, 2023.
