Pry Into the Void Trailer Introduces Waltiere

Publisher DANGEN Entertainment and developer Ernest Placido released a new trailer for Pry Into the Void. The two-minute video focuses on the character Waltiere. A loyal servant to protagonist Josef’s grandfather, Waltiere extends his services to Josef to allow him to become the saviour of a world.

Pry Into the Void is the first entry in a planned series of titles dubbed Retched Garden and lists Shin Megami Tensei, Off, Yume Nikki, and Omori as inspirations. It sees Josef enter a realm known as the Void, home to monsters representing different facets of humanity. The game features a turn-based combat system where exploiting enemy weaknesses and utilising passive skills play key roles, as well as a branching narrative. Pry Into the Void, which underwent a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in 2022, is planned to release on PC in 2024, with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch to follow after.
