Disgaea 7 Academy Teaches Demonic Intelligence

NIS America released a new “Disgaea Academy” video for tactical RPG Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless. The seven-minute video gives an introduction to the game’s revamped Demonic Intelligence system.

The Demonic Intelligence system works with the game’s auto-battle system. By clearing Item Worlds and other stages, players earn Poltergas that can be used to run the auto-battle system. By setting up various rules and orders within the Demonic Intelligence menu, players adjust how units behave during auto-battle, helping them act more efficiently and conserving Poltergas.

Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless takes place in the Hinomoto Netherworld Cluster, a netherworld inspired by Japanese culture that is losing its “Bushido” lifestyle after being taken over by the corrupt Oedo Shogunate. The story follows lazy samurai Fuji and Hinomoto otaku Pirilika, who collect an odd assortment of allies as they search for the Seven Weapons of Origin in order to defeat the Shogunate. Disgaea 7 will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in North America and for PC worldwide on October 3, 2023, with its European PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch release to follow a few days later on October 6, 2023.
