Rogue Legacy 2 Launching on PlayStation Consoles Next Week

Cellar Door Games announced that Rogue Legacy 2 will release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on June 20, 2023. The action roguelite will be available as a cross-buy title and also included on the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for members of the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscriptions. The PlayStation console release will come with the Fabled Heroes and Swan Song free content updates.

Rogue Legacy 2 originally released for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in 2022 with a Nintendo Switch version released later that year. Like its predecessorRogue Legacy 2 sees players controlling generations of adventurers in a randomly-generated world. Each time the player character dies, the world is regenerated — though bosses remain defeated — and a new hero is selected from a list of options, each with their own class and quirks that can help or hinder. Players are able to upgrade their home manor, ensuring subsequent generations get stronger.
