Remnant II Trailer Shows World of Yaesha

Gearbox Software and Gunfire Games released their latest trailer for action RPG Remnant II. The new trailer highlights the game’s world of Yaesha, whose citizens have been fighting a losing battle against the unrelenting corruption of the Root as it overgrows the ruins. In addition, the companies recently released a new nine-minute gameplay video, which shows combat and exploration as well as the three Gunslinger, Handler, and Challenger character build Archetypes.

Remnant II is a sequel to 2019’s Remnant: From the Ashes. Like its predecessor, the game has up to three players battling the Root through semi-random campaigns that seeds a unique path through the game when started. It features a mix of shooting and melee combat with a heavier focus on the customizable archetypes. Remnant II is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S and is currently planned to release in summer 2023.
