New Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC Pokémon Teased

The Pokémon Company teased a new Pokémon that will appear in the upcoming DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Among other new content, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will introduce an unknown Pokémon reminiscent of the Legendary Pokémon Terapagos. Although small, it can crystallise its body’s energy into a shield and pull in its appendages to resemble a jewel. The Pokémon will also appear in the Pokémon Horizons animated series.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the latest generation of Pokémon titles and released worldwide for Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022. The games take place in the new Paldea region with players controlling students sent out on a grand treasure hunt. The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will release in two parts. Part 1: The Teal Mask will release in fall 2023, with Part 2: The Indigo Disk to follow in winter 2023.
