Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Welcomes the Wanderer of the Rift

Square Enix and Team Ninja have announced the second DLC for action RPG Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin. The second DLC is titled Wanderer of the Rift and will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on October 26, 2022. The DLC will introduce recurring series character Gilgamesh and the new Labyrinth of Dimensions, which randomly configures the path of the player to unlock pieces of its story. In addition, it will add the Blue Mage job, new special summoned monsters, new equipment, and new challenging “Chaotic Monsters”. Wanderer of the Rift is included as part of the game’s Season Pass along with Trials of the Dragon King and a third piece of DLC yet to be revealed.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is a reimagining of the first title in the Final Fantasy series and is developed by Koei Tecmo’s Team Ninja division. It follows Jack and his companions as they aim to restore the light to the crystals of the kingdom of Cornelia at the behest of its king.
