Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten Delayed to November

Aquaplus and Shiravune announced a new delay to the release of Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten. The game, previously planned to release in October, will now release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in Japan and for PC worldwide on November 17, 2022. The delay was stated to be due to a coronavirus infection among the development staff, necessitating an adjustment to the final stages of production.

Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten acts as a prequel to Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, and tells the story of major character Oshtor. At the time of the game, Oshtor is living with his mother and sister in a province of the Yamato Empire and investigates a matter for the local lord, during which he comes across a girl named Shunya. She tells him that his father may still be alive, setting the pair off on a journey to the unmapped land of Arva Shulan to uncover the truth.
