Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten Gets Gameplay Trailer

Shiravune and Aquaplus released a new trailer for Utawarerumono series title Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten. The five-minute trailer, in Japanese with English subtitles, shows the game’s exploration and turn-based combat, both new elements for the series.

Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten acts as a prequel to Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, and tells the story of major character Oshtor. At the time of the game, Oshtor is living with his mother and sister in a province of the Yamato Empire and investigates a matter for the local lord, during which he comes across a girl named Shunya. She tells him that his father may still be alive, setting the pair off on a journey to the unmapped land of Arva Shulan to uncover the truth.

Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten will release for PC internationally via Steam on September 8, 2022, with the game also releasing on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in Japan on the same date. The PC version will feature English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese text support with Japanese voice overs. Those who purchase it before December 31, 2022, will receive a digital art booklet and 30-track “Prelude” soundtrack selection.
