Mahou Senshi Cosplay Club Announced
Knights of Pen & Paper and Chroma Squad developer Behold Studios has announced its latest project. Mahou Senshi Cosplay Club is a new turn-based RPG combining magical girl and cosplay elements. The game is in development for PC and “major consoles”, available to wishlist now on Steam, and is planned for release in 2023. Behold Studios has stated it is considering a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, which it previously used to help fund Chroma Squad.
Mahou Senshi Cosplay Club is set in a world where magical girls get their powers from cosplaying. Players create different costumes, which grant them different abilities for both quests and cosplay contests. The game will have dynamic side quests and NPCs to encourage replays, as well as crafting elements.
